1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website and utilizing the services of WatchFixPro, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. These terms govern your use of our luxury watch repair, restoration, and horological consultation services.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services or website.


2. Service Descriptions

WatchFixPro provides professional horological services including but not limited to:

  • Complete watch servicing and restoration
  • Complication repair and adjustment
  • Vintage timepiece restoration
  • Emergency watch repair services
  • Case refinishing and polishing
  • Routine maintenance and calibration
  • Expert consultation on luxury timepieces

All services are provided by certified horological professionals with extensive experience in luxury watch restoration.


3. Booking and Consultation Process

3.1. Appointments and Evaluations

Initial consultations are conducted to assess your timepiece's condition and determine the appropriate service level. Diagnostic fees range from $125 to $275 depending on the complexity of the evaluation.

3.2. Service Estimates

After evaluation, we provide written estimates detailing the scope of work, timeline, and total cost. Major repairs may require authorization of additional charges if unforeseen complications arise.

3.3. Acceptance of Service

Services commence upon receipt of your written acceptance of our service estimate and payment of the diagnostic fee.


4. Pricing and Payment

4.1. Service Fees

  • Complete Service: $850 - $2,500
  • Complication Repair: $1,200 - $4,500
  • Vintage Restoration: $1,500 - $6,000
  • Emergency Repair: $450 - $1,200
  • Case Refinishing: $300 - $850
  • Routine Maintenance: $250 - $650

4.2. Payment Terms

50% deposit required upon service acceptance, with remaining balance due upon completion. We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and certified checks.

4.3. Additional Costs

Rare or specialized components may incur additional charges. Clients will be informed of any additional costs exceeding 15% of the original estimate before proceeding.


5. Client Responsibilities

5.1. Accurate Information

Clients must provide accurate information about their timepiece's history, previous repairs, and any special requirements or sensitivities.

5.2. Authorized Ownership

Clients must be the rightful owner of the timepiece or have explicit authorization from the owner to authorize repairs.

5.3. Pickup Timeline

Completed timepieces must be collected within 30 days of notification. Extended storage may incur additional fees.


6. Service Guarantees and Warranties

6.1. Workmanship Warranty

We guarantee our workmanship for 12 months from the date of service completion. This warranty covers defects in our repair work but does not cover normal wear, damage from misuse, or issues unrelated to our service.

6.2. Parts Warranty

Replacement parts are warranted according to manufacturer specifications, typically 6-24 months depending on the component.

6.3. Warranty Limitations

Warranty is void if the timepiece is serviced by another party during the warranty period, or if damage results from misuse, accident, or normal wear.


7. Refund Policy

7.1. Diagnostic Fee Refund

Diagnostic fees are refundable if you decline our service estimate within 48 hours of receiving it. After this period, diagnostic fees are non-refundable as they cover our professional evaluation time.

7.2. Service Refunds

Refunds for repair services are only available in the following circumstances:

  • Service cancellation before work begins: 100% refund minus diagnostic fee
  • Service cancellation after work begins: Refund of unused portion only
  • Unsuccessful repair due to our error: Full refund of service fees
  • Timepiece damaged during our service: Full refund plus repair or replacement costs

7.3. Refund Process

Refund requests must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the refund-eligible event. Approved refunds are processed within 10-14 business days to the original payment method.

7.4. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable:

  • Completed and satisfactory repairs
  • Custom-ordered parts specific to your timepiece
  • Emergency service fees
  • Diagnostic fees after 48-hour acceptance period

8. Liability and Risk

8.1. Limitation of Liability

WatchFixPro's liability is limited to the value of the timepiece or the cost of the service, whichever is less. We maintain comprehensive insurance coverage for client timepieces in our care.

8.2. Risk Acknowledgment

Clients acknowledge that vintage or severely damaged timepieces may carry inherent risks during restoration. We will discuss these risks before proceeding with any high-risk procedures.

8.3. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, supply chain disruptions, or government regulations.


9. Confidentiality and Discretion

9.1. Client Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client information, timepiece collections, and service details. This information is never shared with third parties without explicit consent.

9.2. Discretionary Services

For high-value timepieces, we offer discretionary pickup and delivery services, secure storage, and private consultation areas to ensure complete confidentiality.


10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, and design elements, is protected by copyright and trademark laws. Unauthorized use of our intellectual property is prohibited.

Clients may not photograph or document our restoration processes without explicit written permission.


11. Dispute Resolution

11.1. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Vancouver, BC.

11.2. Dispute Process

Before pursuing formal dispute resolution, parties agree to attempt good-faith negotiation. If unsuccessful, disputes will be resolved through the British Columbia Arbitration Association.


12. Changes to Terms

WatchFixPro reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website and communicated to active clients via email.

Continued use of our services after term modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
